Plated products are relatively inexpensive in comparison to the other types of bond systems, but their single layer of abrasive results in a shorter life.

Grinding discs are characterised by high stock removal and cutting efficiency as well as their long service life. Rhodius grinding discs are made in a thickness of 7mm with a special top layer.
